  • ARTBYGOS

    @Artbygos_

    From growing up on comic giants like Jack Kirby, Jim Lee, Dwayne Mcduffie and Alex Ross, I execute my artistic vision through my work as clearly and transparent as possible. By virtue of my knowledge on surrealist fundamentals and an understanding of the color spectrum, my pieces can truly captivate the human eye. As a result of my love for comics I naturally include bold lines, vivid colors, personal life experiences and places in my dreams I hold most dear to my heart included in my work.

  • The Colorful Jess

    @thecolorfuljess

    Jess is a mom, creative, and ever-evolving human. She's always been drawn to color ever since she could remember — whether it was mismatching her socks or coloring in bubble letters. In college, she discovered the simplicity of the graphic design world that lead her to a decade-long career following the rules of typography and white space. With the structure and perfectionism came a need to work with her hands and free flow a bit more. She began exploring hand lettering and painting murals around town to balance the design work. Jess became a mom in May 2023, and the motherhood journey has both inspired her and limited her spare time. Working with her hands — and not just on her laptop — has brought about a renewed sense of creativity. Her latest series is an exploration of color and emotions through paint strokes on paper and canvas that gets to live in your home. It’s a new direction that feels like Jess’ distinct style of bold, colorful, and playful with an abstract twist.

  • Mansi Yaduka

    @mansiyadukaart

    As a multidisciplinary visual artist, I embrace the freedom to express my inner vision through various creative tools, transcending medium boundaries. My art draws from ancient texts, personal experiences, and the universe. I'm driven by a desire to live a more authentic, compassionate life and to explore alternative paths. I take time to reflect, experimenting with colors, patterns, and textures to create immersive visual experiences. My primary inspiration comes from ancient Indian texts, and my work encompasses portraits, mythology, human drama, and everyday scenes, set against a backdrop of ancient history in modern context. I aim to share the timeless tales of ancient India, stories of love, power, courage, and righteousness, and how they can be applied to modern life. My visual style is influenced by Rajasthani painting, with a linear, horizontal perspective, and a touch of playfulness. I create narrative paintings that layer philosophy in a refreshed, lyrical style. The characters and environment interact with one another, but not in any manner consistent with naturalism. Through my art, I encourage you to seek your own truth, question the norm, and embrace the unknown. I seek to inspire those finding more meaning, questioning existence, and craving poetic details in life. My art is a visual poetry for my soul, and I hope it resonates with yours.

  • K.G.Rickman LLC

    @balmerartist

    Painter and educator Katie Rickman is native Marylander and a graduate of Maryland Institute, College of Art (M.I.C.A.) with both her BFA in painting and her MFA in teaching. Guiding others to develop the skills to “see through the eyes of an artist” in order to observe and record the world around them is a gift she was given by a favorite art teacher and mentor as a teenager. That experience sparked a life-long passion for painting and teaching. Her ideas often come spontaneously throughout her day as something catches her eye: the way light hits a form, a reflection, a cloud formation, the curve of a road, the haze of distant space or a fluid movement- she strives to capture these glimpses to share with others. Rickman is drawn to contrasting elements- darkness and glowing light, smooth and textured surfaces, old and new, organic and geometric and more subtly masculine and feminine. While primarily working with paint on canvas, she also explores the addition of fabric, paper, small found objects and other elements, playing with surface texture then back to painting to reinforce a sense of form and space. She also likes to honor her history by repurposing and collaging sections of old paintings into new works.

  • Art For Dudes

    @strongify

    My name is Jeff Strong, I’m a self-taught, spray paint/stencil artist who is new to the art scene. I worked for the Discovery Channel for 22+ years as a Creative Director and, along the way, was afforded an opportunity to explore the world in a way few are. I’ve been drawn to the rawness and energy of street art and artists in every city I’ve visited; the authentic, unpolished nature of it speaks to me. The art I create is wholly original, driven by a wide range of things I’m interested in and fueled by the colorful wow of pop art. My mediums consist of a variety of materials, including stretch canvas, wood, metal, vinyl, skate and snowboard decks, and subway tiles. I look forward to continuing to hone my craft and style and experimenting in all phases of the creative process.

  • Lil Guys I Drew

    @lilguysidrew

    I am an artist and maker in Baltimore, MD, inspired heavily by religious or occult imagery and medieval art. My drawings started as a means to cope with grief and has transformed into what it is today. I consider my art ‘imperfect’: imperfections in my work are attributed to working through chronic pain and arthritis, and I embrace them and make them part of the work.

  • Gravity Zoom Photography

    @craigofwaffles

    My photography explores surrealism, texture, and travel–especially around my home city of Baltimore. One of my favorite ways to make familiar sights foreign is through the use of infrared photography, a set of methods and tools that are especially well suited to emphasizing the inclusion and encroachment of nature in the built environment. My work also reflects my background in journalism and science, using photos to tell stories about the people and places. In infrared, I’m currently working on techniques to enhance the faithful and even hyperrealistic communication of texture. In normal human color, my current projects are bringing the aesthetics and mood of classic wildlife photography to unloved urban animals such as rats as well as adapting architecture photography techniques to chemical plants and other industrial sites.

    The driving force behind Saz’s work is the feeling of being lost and rediscovering truth. She allows viewers the power to embark on a journey with no destination. There is beauty in the unknown and Saz’s work explores the depth of our innermost desires to be free. The surreal elements of Saz’s work are inviting because of the childlike simplicity but urges you to look closer to reveal a deeper truth.
