The print pact story

Artists Collin Cessna and Saz Ross wanted to create a new mode of selling art successfully.

They wanted to find a way to place prints in high traffic spaces while creating higher visibility and credibility for their art businesses while designing a funnel to their websites, events, and business offerings without paying for another ad online or learning a new algorithm. And… The Print Pact was born. As everyone came out of the trenches of covid and people started wanting to get out more, Collin and Saz placed print baskets in high traffic stores BUT it had a hard time sustaining itself with just two artists. At this time, they realized it would take way more creative voices for Print Pact to survive. So Saz and Collin brought more artists in… and those artists knew artists… and those artists knew more businesses that wanted art baskets. Here they are 3 years later-40 artists (and counting) showcasing work, and 50+ business partnerships created.

Print Pact artists promote the businesses they sell in and the businesses provide a space for our baskets-the ultimate symbiotic relationship. Print Pact baskets can be found in hair salons, coffee shops, cafe’s, breweries, book stores, museum gift shops, and it doesn’t stop there-strictly small businesses relationships.. Today, Print Pact celebrates the longevity of a business model that is the only one of its kind (just ask Chat GPT) and has not only survived but currently thrives. The truth is… Print Pact is just getting started. Print Pact takes pride in creating a space that has allowed artists to make original artwork sales, commissions, brand partnerships, vending gigs, and mural opportunities from a simple print sale in a basket. Print Pact is proud to see brick and mortar businesses add an edge to their space by inviting new artworks in on a monthly basis.

It is worth it to know that consumers of these partnership stores stay longer to shop, buy another drink or service, and come back to always find something new.
